The Vibe Aura Story

There was a strong voice, “Wake up. Get up.

You need to make this sound machine and it’s going to help a lot of people. Wake up!”

I resisted. ‘No…I’m tired. I need more sleep. I’m not waking up.’

The voice persisted. “Get up. You have to wake up. This sound machine is going to balance chakras. You have to make this.

Wake up!”

It wouldn’t stop.

I then dragged myself downstairs, where I met my best friend who was now couch surfing in my living room. We had a coffee and cannabis ritual. I explained, “It wasn’t my voice. It wasn’t a dream. It said I’m going to make a sound machine that plays sounds for the chakras.”

He, being an engineer and small time “McGyver” was immediately interested, “Chief, this is the best idea you’ve ever had. Oh, my God. Let me design it! I can make this thing.”

“No, no. I don’t think so. It has to have lights and mp3 and plastic. We’d need a mold and mass production. Can’t we just find one that’s already made?”

“I can make this! I’m going to make it. It’s going to be the coolest thing you’ve ever seen!”

And that’s how we began.

Some entity popped into my theta consciousness and gave me this idea. I honestly can’t take credit for it. However, since that day I have learned so much about sound frequencies and I understand why I was chosen by the Universe (or whatever you believe in) to be the creator of Vibe Aura.

I was very ambitious at the time and trying to figure out how to fix my life. It was virtually impossible (unbeknownst to me) because I couldn’t stop drinking. Even if it was only a little beer, cider or 5% seltzer – I was on a path to nowhere, but trying to find a solution.

I got a call from the Pachamama Sanctuary in Windham from Derek, who was concerned about some negative energy surrounding his property. I am a Reiki master and went in blindly because I didn’t understand if it was energy from the people who came to take Ayahuasca medicine, or if it was from the land itself. I felt the energy and shifted it.

Later, he asked if I would be interested in doing Reiki for his participants at the weekend retreat. It was a group of women, and I went around the room preparing each woman for the journey she was about to take.

Derek had to make his exit, but before he did, he said, “We have an empty bed. You can stay if you want.”

In my mind, the answer was ‘definitely not’. I had no reason to pull skeletons out of my closet or heal my inner child. I was just fine.

No, thanks.

Then something happened. I was on a trip in Florida, and I had been drinking and eating edibles for 2 days straight. The next morning, I remember fighting with something evil. I was under attack. I tried to scream but no sound was coming out. I finally yelled, “Get out!” and that woke me up.

Any Reiki master will tell you to do a thing 3 times, so I yelled it 2 more times (even though there were other people there, looking quizzically at me). Then I felt something dark whoosh from my body and leave from my feet.

I said, “I am never touching alcohol again.” And I haven’t.

Within 2 days, my mind completely changed. I wanted to try Ayahuasca like never before. I texted Derek and asked if there were any spots open at the next retreat, and there were.

I had 2 weeks of detoxing from drinking alcohol before the retreat. I didn’t follow the “dieta” perfectly, which made my first evening difficult. The medicine is very subtle, and you have to “surrender” if you want it to do its job. On the second night, I had my epiphany. All roads led to opening a small practice. It was something that I had always wished I could do but could never do. But it was the answer.

The next question was where, and how.

There was a plan, but it wasn’t my plan. Something or someone has been leading me. Guiding me. All I have to do is listen. I trust this higher consciousness. A few days after the retreat, I heard, “Go for a walk.”

Again, I argued with it. I can be hard-headed and stubborn. Finally, I submitted. I went for the walk – and on my way back home – wouldn’t you know it? Right there in front of me was a “For Lease” sign for a tiny house on Route 1. I would’ve never noticed it from my car.

I called the number immediately. The agent said because of my situation, I would have to pay double deposit. I used everything I had to get the lease in my name. I had no money left! How was I supposed to create a small practice with no money left? Thankfully, I had a very gracious partner who offered to help. He didn’t believe in the possibility of a sound and light healing center in Maine, exactly, but he wanted to help. Everything was flowing. I knew it was right, so I kept going. I stepped out in full faith and began to make plans.

I heard people tell me, “Nobody has ever done anything like this in Maine.” “You’re making history.” “Nothing like this exists.”

“People are going to want to try this.”

I was excited, but exhausted. There’s always so much to do when you want things to go well. I gathered some friends, and even my son on a few occasions (when he could peel himself away from the video games). When everything was fully ready, all I had to wait for was a sign. No, literally. I had no sign out front. The town took 3 weeks to issue the permit, but as my best friend says, “Good things take time.”

I like having the feeling that this small practice is meant to be. I feel as if something greater than myself saw the need for it and appointed me. I honorably commit myself to helping others and will do everything I can to show anyone suffering that frequencies combined with consciousness is a very powerful thing.
